About.
Britt Fenton is a trans-disciplinary artists living in sun-soaked cottage on the Sunshine Coast, Australia with a love of visual storytelling and a belief in practicing kindness.
Originally born in South Africa, Britt lived in Dubai for most of her junior years before moving to Australia with her family. Her memories across different cultures act as an archive of rich visual references that inspire her work and inform her unique visual language and style.
Her practice spans across many disciplines, including art, design, and photography, and is woven together by her fascination with tactility, nature, memory, and the human experience. She mixes traditionally analogue techniques with contemporary digital media to create visuals that tickle the sense and convey purposeful and meaningful messages. Britt’s mixed-media approach to creating mimics her cross-culture experiences, as she blurs the lines between creative fields to enhance her image-making.
Creating kindly for the people, place & planet.
The one constant in Britt’s creative practice is her unwavering commitment to kindness, which acts as an undercurrent to guide every decision, and falls across three major categories; people, place, and planet. Britt truely believes that the secret to a better world involves community, connection, and creativity, and to do this she exclusively works with people and brands who are doing good for their people, the place they call home, or the planet we live on.
